Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans has revealed he is keen to see a sequel to LittleBigPlanet, though wasn’t quite ready to spill the beans as to whether a follow up to the critically acclaimed platformer is in the works.
Speaking to GI.biz, Evans stated, “I’d love there to be a sequel, put it that way,” adding, “But that’s not an announcement – although I will say that the entire team is working on LBP.”
In the meantime (because let’s face it, there will be a sequel) fans can look forward to SackBoy’s portable debut with LittleBigPlanet PSP, which is currently pencilled in for release in late 2009.
We’ll have more Media Molecule’s plans for LittleBigPlanet as they become available to us.
