Blades of Fire, a new action-adventure game from developer MercurySteam and publisher 505 Games, is coming to PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on May 22, 2025.

Blades of Fire follows Aran de Lira, last hero ablate wield steel, and young scholar Adso, as they battle against the Queens guard, creatures, undead and more in a bestiary that includes over 50 enemies. Combat allows you to target specific body parts, and you must use the right weapon to overcome the enemy’s armour, while locating Forge Scrolls allows you to craft weapons to suit your style, with weight, lengthy and durability affected by the materials you create it from.
Blades of Fire is due out on May 22 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
