Fresh rumors on a Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake have been shot down over the weekend after Donna Burke, who performed the iconic Snake Eater theme tune, appeared to confirm that she’s working on the as-yet unannounced project.
Burke tweeted an image of herself last week clutching a folder that reads ‘Snake Eater’ and many fans took this as her recording the theme tune for the MGS3 remake. However, composer Mason Lieberman was quick to downplay any connection to the remake, much to the disappointment of fans.

Late last month, journalist Andy Robinson claimed that the game would be launching in 2024.
According to reports, the MGS3 remake is being developed by Virtuous Studios, with an employee previously commenting that the company is working on an ‘unannounced triple-A remake.’
