Following a series of hands-on previews for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater with the press recently, it has been report that the remake of 2004’s stealth masterpiece will feature two graphics modes on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S: Performance and Quality.
The Quality Mode will offer dynamic 4K resolution at 30 FPS, while the Performance Mode will render at 1080p and run at 60 FPS. These type of graphics modes are becoming increasingly popular with major titles nowadays, so it was to be expected MGS Delta would include them too.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a full remake of 2004’s MGS3, and retains the original dialogue and performances of the PS2 game. However, everything else has been completely overhauled, and there’s a new control scheme in place for those who prefer something a little more modern. Key features of the original remain in place, including Snake’s ability to camouflage himself, as well as heal injuries and catch wildlife to eat to replenish stamina.
Konami has not announced a release date for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater yet, but it is expected to arrive at some point in early 2025.
