Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain multiplayer reveal coming this week

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’s multiplayer will be fully unveiled later this week in a new 25-minute demo, creator Hideo Kojima has revealed.

The footage will be broadcast this Thursday and can be seen on IGN at the following times: 3.00 am PT/6.00 am ET/11.00 am BST.

For those unaware, The Phantom Pain’s online component was shown off during a behind-closed-doors session at Gamescom last week, but this will be the first time the public is able to have a butcher’s at the multiplayer.

In other good news, it has been confirmed that the footage will be played in full high-definition, for all you 1080p/60fps enthusiasts out there.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 in 2015.
