Metro Exodus How To Kill The Catfish – Fisherman Trophy

Metro Exodus How To Kill The Catfish - Fisherman Trophy

Within Metro Exodus’ The Volga level, there is a pesky, giant catfish that follows you around all the time. Believe it or not, but there is actually a way to kill this hulking monstrosity. Unfortunately, you will have to wait until late in the level to do so. Here is what you need to do in order to kill The Catfish. A written guide can be found below this video guide.

How To Kill The Catfish

The Catfish cannot be killed until you head to the train depot, in order to get the railcar. Head all the way through this area, until you reach the giant red door. To one side is a set of stairs and a grey door that head to a side area. Head through there.

Now you want to create a trap for the catfish. All of the objects you can interact with are on the right as you head down the stairs. Overlooking the water, you have three bodies being hung buy strings in the centre, a bell on the right, and a level on the left. Ring the bell first.

Now, wait for the catfish to crash against the spikes. Once it has done that, quickly cut one of the strings to drop a body.

Once it starts to feed on a body pull the level to drop the rubble onto it.

After the rubble has fallen onto it, walk around a bit to initiate the cutscene killing the Catfish, earning you the Fisherman trophy in the process.

I absolutely loved my time with Metro Exodus and believe it is a worthy addition to anyone’s library. In my review, I call it “an amazing experience and an absolute joy to play.”

Metro Exodus releases on February 15 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
