Metro Redux runs at 1080p on PS4, while Xbox One gets the short end of the stick again

Deep Silver’s Hew Beynon has confirmed that the PlayStation 4 version of Metro Redux will run at 1080p.

By comparison, Beynon told Polygon that the Xbox One edition of the post-apocalyptic packaged will clock in at 900p. Both versions of the game perform at 60fps, however.

Metro Redux is a compilation featuring remastered versions of 4A Games’ celebrated action-horror titles: Metro: 2033 and Metro: Last Light.

The games feature a host of enhancements over their last-generation counterparts, including improved AI, dynamic weather effects, enhanced lighting and more. You’ll also get all the Season Pass content included for Last Light, while 2033 has been completely rebuilt from the ground-up for new hardware.

Metro Redux is scheduled for release in summer 2014 for $49.99/£34.99, or you can pick up each game individually.
