Microsoft Wants To Know If Users Want PS5 DualSense Features For Xbox Series X/S

It’s fair to say that the PS5 DualSense controller has been a massive hit with punters, so much so that Microsoft is now asking Xbox Series X/S owners if they’d like to see similar features added to its own hardware.

A new customer survey distributed by the format holder seems to point to this at least, with one example reading, “I am aware of features on PlayStation controllers that I wish were on the controller that came with this console.”

In addition, it also asks what controller features Xbox Series X/S gamers would like to see implemented, and if they feel the system is “next-gen” or not.

We know that Xbox overlord Phil Spencer has spoken very highly about the DualSense, telling Verge in November:

I applaud what they did with the controller, not actually for — well, I shouldn’t say not for the specifics of the controller, but more than just the specifics of the controller.

The PS5 and Xbox Series X/S were released in November 2020.
