Shadow of War: 5 things you need to know about the new Middle-earth game

As previously confirmed, the Gold Edition of Shadow of War includes the game plus a variety of in-game extras, such as two additional story packs (Desolation of Mordor and The Blade of Galadriel) and other bonuses.

Shadow of War is due out on PS4, PS4 Pro, PC, and Xbox One on August 22, 2017, with an Xbox Scorpio version also planned. The game takes place following the events of its critically acclaimed predecessor, Shadow of Mordor, and sees Talion waging war against the Dark Lord Sauron’s stronghold in Mordor with his own Orc army. The Nemesis system makes a return, with players able to conquer fortresses and attract followers, who may betray you depending on your actions.
