For those who prefer physical videogame copies, a disc-based version of 4J Studios’ intrepid block-builder Minecraft has been announced for release on October 7.
Revealed on Sony’s U.S. PlayStation Blog, the game will ship to North American shores four days after gamers in Europe get their greasy mitts on it (October 3), and it’s imperative that the day-one patch is installed to make sure everything runs fine and dandy.
Featuring worlds 36 times of previous versions, the PS4 edition (released on PlayStation Network earlier this month) is billed as the ultimate Minecraft experience, allowing players to import PS3 saves so they can continue in whatever endeavour they’re pursuing.
As for the much-talked-about PS Vita version, it was confirmed that news of the game will be released in the coming weeks, as will updates regarding Cross-Buy.
