Electronic Arts is making more money from mobile games than PlayStation 3 games, recent figures show.
In the third quarter of 2007, EA made a massive $640 million (£311m), but income from PS3 games was their lowest profit maker in the breakdown.
The figures showed $17m (£8m) profit for PS3, well behind the $37m (£18m) made by mobile games.
This is also doesn’t take in to consideration the cheaper costs involved in making mobile games, although it is expected that the recent surge in PS3 sales will see these figures change soon.
However, it does highlight the growth and importance of mobile gaming, according to Pocket Gamer.
