Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Portable 3 will be unleashed in Japan on December 1.
The publisher confirmed the date in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. Eager Japanese punters will also be able to test drive the game at this month’s Tokyo Game Show, where the game will be playable on the show floor.
In addition, Famitsu also unveiled a new creature for the sequel capable of gliding across ice, named the “White Rabbit Beast Urukususu.”
All-new features this time around include a fresh base of operations known as Yukumo Village, which carries a design particularly evocative of feudal Japan. Players will also be able to customise their Felyne’s equipment, and can also bring two Felyne’s out on a quest with them as opposed to the solitary companion feature in the previous entry, Freedom Unite.
A western release has yet to be confirmed.
