Monster Hunter Wilds appeared at Gamescom ONL 2024, as it was promised to, and we got another big look at some massive monsters.
Unfortunately we didn’t get a release date, instead a reminder of what Capcom has said before, that the game is set to arrive sometime in 2025.
If you happen to be at Gamescom 2024 though, Wilds will be playable at Capcom’s booth, so if you’re willing to wait in what’ll likely be a very long line, then you could potentially get a gameplay experience to look back on until a release date is properly revealed.
However if you’re not at Gamescom 2024, you can just re-watch the gameplay trailers for the game, like the one Capcom premiered during Gamescom ONL 2024.
You can check out the new gameplay for Monster Hunter Wilds for yourself, below.
The new trailer shows off a new locale, the Scarlet Forest and a brand new monster, the Lala Barina. It also shows off new characters and, as a special treat for fans it shows a little bit of the excellent-looking food featured in the Monster Hunter series.
