Capcom has announced the Monster Hunter World Iceborne title update 4 release date, confirming the long-awaited patch will arrive on July 9. To whet your appetite, there’s also a teaser trailer for you to feast your eyes on.

Writing in a blog post, Capcom revealed that Event Quests will be put back into normal rotation on July 8 for the game, with the schedule updated on the official website and via the in-game Gathering Hub Notice Board on July 3.

Monster Hunter World was released in early 2018 for PS4 and Xbox One, and arrived for PC later in the year. The game ranks as Capcom’s single best-selling video game ever. The Iceborne expansion arrived in 2019 and further expanded the game world.
