Spotted by MP1st, more concept art from the last game PlayStation London Studio was working on before it shut down has appeared online.
Thanks to a post on ArtStation by a former artist at the storied studio, we have another look into what could’ve been. In the comments of the post, other developers from London Studio lament about the game the world never got to see.
Codenamed Camden, we’d previously only seen one piece of concept art. Now we have a couple more, and sure. On one level, it’s just concept art. It’s rare that the concept art and final product look exactly a-like.
But it’s a key part of the process in making a game. It helps shape what the game will look like, feel like, and even play like.
Not to mention that we rarely get a look into the game development process with how little transparency exists in the games industry.
