NetherRealm Studios, the developer responsible for the Mortal Kombat series, is on the lookout for a Senior Combat Designer, which pretty much confirms previously speculation that the company is working on the next entry in the series.
The job listing mentions it will involve game design, and specifically mentions combat, balance, and character tuning. It also mentions Mortal Kombat and Injustice, as well as motion-captures, suggesting this is a major project and not a mobile title.
Back in January, Jonathan Anderson, a producer working at NetherRealm Studios, apparently let slip that Mortal Kombat 12 was in the pipeline, although the company itself has never announced anything. The job listing itself however could pertain to a new Injustice game, as NetherRealm tends to alternate between them.
