Digital Eclipse is still keeping its cards close to its chest regarding the Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection, but according to PlayStation Store tracker PSDeals, the retro compilation will be releasing on October 30, 2025. Interestingly, this is about a month later than the previously-leaked date of September 29.
As mentioned, there’s no official release date on the cards yet, but we have two dates now to go on so hopefully Digital Eclipse will break silence soon enough.

Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection will be available for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. The bundle includes Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II, Mortal Kombat III, Ultimate Mortal Kombat III, Mortal Kombat 4, Mortal Kombat Advance, Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance, and Mortal Kombat Tournament Edition. Some of the games have multiple versions available to choose form, including Mega Drive, SNES, Game Boy, and Arcade among others.
Furthermore, all titles included in the collection feature online multiplayer with rollback net code, and there’s heaps of behind-the-scenes content such as interviews with Ed Boon and John Tobias for fans to soak up.
While we’re on the subject of Mortal Kombat, the Simon McQuoid-directed Mortal Kombat II is set to arrive in cinemas on October 24, 2025, and will introduce Johnny Cage into the mix, who is played by Karl Urban.
