Nacon NACON Connect Delayed News PS5

NACON Connect Has Been Delayed, But ‘Announced Releases Remain On Track’

NACON has announced that it has delayed its planned NACON Connect event in wake of details about its financial situation coming to light, and has taken the time to address the topic.

Writing in a post on X, the company noted that while it remains a “difficult moment” NACON and things are challenging, it stressed that “this is not the end.” Furthermore, its announced games are still on track for release.

You may have seen reports about NACON’s financial situation. It’s true: this is a difficult moment for us, and we want to address it directly. Yes, things are challenging. No, this is not the end. We’ve decided to postpone NACON Connect to work even harder on the launch of upcoming games and unveil the new games once our situation will be stabilised.

What hasn’t changed: our announced releases remain on track, and we still have many projects in development. We’re confident we’ll get through this, and we look forward to bringing NACON Connect back as soon as we can — to focus on what matters most: our games and accessories. Thank you for your continued support.

The French publisher’s financial stem from a failed loan repayment from its majority shareholder, Bigben Interactive, due to the “unexpected refusal of its banking pool to respond to the drawdown notice.” As Nacon’s available assets are not sufficient to pay its current debts, the publisher is now considering legal procedures with the aim of reorganising its debut and to stabilise the company.
