Naughty Dog has given its clearest indication yet that Nathan Drake will bow out of the Uncharted franchise with the highly anticipated Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End in spring 2016.
Speaking in response to the towering Nathan Drake banner adorning the Los Angeles Convention Centre, Uncharted 4 Game Director, Neil Druckmann, commented, "Looking mighty good for his last E3" accompanied by a cheeky devil emoticon.
While Druckmann may just be having a bit of fun with fans it’s worth pointing out that Naughty Dog has previously teased Nathan Drake’s exit from the multi-million selling series, saying that Uncharted 4 will ‘offer closure‘ on the fortune hunter’s tale.
Furthermore, Nolan North, the voice actor behind Drake, has said he feels that Uncharted 4 will be the final instalment in the action-adventure franchise.
Regardless, providing Druckmann isn’t just pulling our leg, it looks like Nathan Drake’s jaw-dropping E3 stage show antics will finally be coming to an end this year.
