Evan Wells, co-president of Naughty Dog, has said that the studio would love to revisit the Jak and Daxter series at some point later down the line.
Speaking with Game Informer, Wells admitted the franchise still has a ‘special place in our hearts,’ and said the developer would ‘love’ to have another crack at it in the future. For now though, they’re busy with all things Uncharted.
"What I hear a lot recently [from fans] is to make another Jak & Daxter game," said Wells.
"My answer always is we’d love to do it, there’s a lot of love for the franchise and it has a special place in our hearts for sure, but we’re sort of heads down, working on one game at a time now and are focusing on Uncharted, but we’d love to go back to it at some point."
The most recent entry in the Jak and Daxter series, The Lost Frontier, released for PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable back in 2009. The duo also showed up in PlayStation Move Heroes, which hit PlayStation 3 earlier this year.
