Box Office Mojo has reported that the film adaptation of Need for Speed has generated $126.7 million at the box office a mere 10 days since its release.
The high-octane action flick, starring Aaron Paul, made $63 million in its opening weekend, though much of its success can be attributed to outside of the U.S.
In North America, the movie has only earned $30.5 million to date, but generated $41.7 million in China alone.
Thanks to the film’s international success, box office revenue sailed past the $100 million mark. It is expected to break the $150 million barrier next weekend.
