Electronic Arts is reportedly working on a Need for Speed: Most Wanted Remake, according to Simone Bailly, the voice actor who played the partner of Sgt. Cross in the original version of the game.
Speaking in a now-deleted tweet, Bailly commented, “Need for Speed: Most Wanted Remake is being released in 2024, LIKE & comment if you want to see Cross (Dean McKenzie) & his partner (Simone Bailly) hunt down the most wanted.”
The original Need for Speed: Most Wanted was released in 2005 for PS2, GameCube, PC, and Xbox, and takes the form of an open-world racing game where players take part in illegal street racing using a wide offering of licensed real-world cars. Three modes of play are available — Career, Quick Race, and Challenge Series — as well as greatly enhancing the police pursuit system compared to previous games.
EA released another Need for Speed: Most Wanted game in 2012 for PS3, PS Vita, PC, Xbox 360 and Wii U, which built on the foundations of the original version of the game.
There’s no official confirmation on a Need for Speed: Most Wanted Remake yet, but we’ll keep you updated.
