Neil Druckmann Says Naughty Dog Has ‘Multiple Single-Player Projects’ In The Works

Naughty Dog head honcho Neil Druckmann has revealed during an interview with the Los Angeles Times that the Uncharted developer currently has “multiple single-player projects” in the works.

While he didn’t go into specific details about its upcoming slate, Druckmann said, , “I promise you, we will not be ‘The Last of Us’ studio forever,” before confirming “multiple single-player projects” are in development.

We create experiences that are steeped in story and character, especially relationships. The stories have some sort of philosophical core that everything is going to revolve around and feed into.

Nothing is known about Naughty Dog’s upcoming projects, although one of them, a standalone The Last of Us multiplayer title, was recently cancelled. However, one of the biggest rumours points to The Last of Us Part 3 being in development, and Druckmann himself has admitted that he feels there are still more stories to tell within that universe.

One of the most recent reports on The Last of Us Part 3 came in July last year, where it was claimed that the game will introduce five new characters with a return for Ellie also on the cards.
