The hi-octane neon-coated boss fighter Furi, once free on PlayStation Plus, gets a physical disc limited edition by Limited Run Games and the CD of the game’s soundtrack today, Furi also gets a PC collector box set next week.
The Limited Run Games physical edition for PlayStation 4 is available today from 10AM EDT on the Limited Run Games store. The edition is limited to 5,000 copies worldwide, as is the case with all of Limited Run’s collection. The Furi – Definitive Edition disc includes the game and its DLC One More Fight and is region free. A code to download the soundtrack on Bandcamp is also included. Available for 30$/€
The award winning electro / synthwave soundtrack of original compositions by Carpenter Brut, Danger, The Toxic Avenger, Lorn, Scattle, Kn1ght and Waveshaper is also available in a sleek CD from today, on Bandcamp for 15$/€.
Furi pits your sword-weilding hero against a series of bosses in a dazzling neon world, each boss has its own particular patterns, and all incredibly challenging. It’s a rather interesting purification of the videogame boss fight, and the soundtrack is an absolute belter.

While the game is already available digitally on the PlayStation Store, Limited Run Games has, as with many other independent titles, given it a small physical release window in order to preserve it outside of the digital medium. Other Limited Run titles have included, Oddworld: New n’ Tasty, Thomas Was Alone, and most recently, Double Fine’s Broken Age. The company will also be handling the physical version of the 25th anniversary edition of cult schlock FMV title Night Trap, which is truly the perfect gift for the man or woman in your life who wants to hold a copy of the Sega CD’s loveable disasterpiece in their hands.
