New Assassin’s Creed Game Targeting 2022 Release – Rumor

Ubisoft will release the next Assassin’s Creed game in 2022, with this year dedicated to supporting Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The new game will reportedly be developed by Ubisoft Sofia with support from other studios within the company.

That’s at least according to a French YouTuber, who revealed that 2021 will be spent on delivering various post-launch content for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. As for Ubisoft Sofia, the studio has cut its teeth on the likes of Assassin’s Creed Origins’ The Curse of the Pharaohs DLC and worked on Assassin’s Creed Rogue back in 2014.

Oddly enough, the YouTuber claims that the game will launch in Q1 2022, which isn’t the usual release window for Assassin’s Creed games, as they typically arrive in the fall.

All the same, take this with a pinch of salt as nothing has been confirmed by Ubisoft yet and we’re unlikely to hear of anything for a while. In the meantime, read our Assassin’s Creed Valhalla PS5 review to see why it’s worth your hard-earned cash.
