Activision has revealed some of the multiplayer maps we can look forward to in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
Among the line-up is Defender, which is set against the backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge in an abandoned bunker. The unique feature of this map will be a dynamic event that Activision says will “hit with strategic regularity.” Brace yourselves for a Tsunami that will change the dynamics of part of the map!
Other maps include the secret, snow-bound base Biolab which features indoor close quarters combat, as well as a large outdoor area for long-ranged attacks.
Riot will take place in an abandoned prison where some of its defence mechanisms are still working. Activision says we can expect “two large open areas on both sides of the map along with a large cell block right in the center for an all-comers shoot-out that thrusts players right into the action.”
Finally, Ascend takes place in a Space Elevator terminal where players can activate turret defences by achieving score streaks.
These are just four of the maps that Activision has currently announced, but we can expect more reveals over the coming days and weeks.
Earlier today, Activision confirmed some of the new game modes we can expect, including Uplink and Momentum.
