Bandai Namco Games has announced that it will roll out a new patch for the critically acclaimed Dark Souls III for PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One at some point today.

Update 1.04 won’t require any downtime for the game’s servers, so be sure to keep checking for the patch when you’re connected to PlayStation Network.

As for what changes it brings, Namco has listed the following details.

  • Performance adjustment for Greatsword.
  • Battle performance adjustment for Dancer’s Enchanted Sword and Winged Knight Twinaxes.
  • Performance adjustments for Soul’s Greatsword and Farron Flashsword.
  • Fix for issue where multiple items become impossible to use at Road of Sacrifices, Farron Keep, Cathedral of the Deep after clearing the game.

Elsewhere, developer From Software issued a statement problems relating to password matchmaking.

Password matching done under the following conditions may result in an extended amount of time required for the match to complete,” said the studio. “Many players are signed in the corresponding area. There is a large gap between the levels of the players who are using the password.”

Dark Souls III was released last week for PS4, PC and Xbox One. The game debuted at number one on the U.K. All Format Chart, shifting more copies than its predecessor and moving the lion’s share of physical copies on the PS4.
