Hideo Kojima has released a new Death Stranding 2 poster as Kojima Productions celebrates its 7th anniversary, following the game’s announcement last week’s The Game Awards 2022.
The Metal Gear creator took to Twitter to share the new art for the game, as well as posting a message revealing his plans for 2023 and a brief tour of Kojima Productions’ new Tokyo offices.
If you read our earlier story you’ll also know that Kojima-san revealed plans to announce the company’s next new game at some point in 2023. Here’s the full message:
Kojima Productions is celebrating its 7th anniversary. I would like to thank everyone for their continued support. Have you had a chance to check out our latest title, [Death Stranding 2], which we revealed at [The Game Awards]? I promise to give you even more amazement and overall gaming experience than the first one. We hope you’ll be excited about it.
In addition to DS2, we are also preparing a completely new game as well as some visual projects. I am hoping to bring you more information on all of these next year.
Death Stranding 2 is currently in development for PS5 and is currently without a release date.
