Dragon Quest III picks up as the only child of the great hero, Ortega, is summoned by the king of Aliahan to vanquish the villainous Baramos — a task that Ortega himself failed to accomplish years before. Players are accompanied by a loyal band of travelling companions to complete their task across a beautiful HD-2D world brimming with dungeons, towns and compelling characters.
The original version of Dragon Quest III, known as Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation and Dragon Warrior III in the US, was released in 1988 for the NES and later received an overhaul for the SNES in 1996 in Japan.
