New information on the Final Fantasy XV demo, Episode Duscae, has surfaced via the recent Active Time Report Page 4.0 hosted by Square Enix’s Hajime Tabata.
According to Tabata-san, the demo won’t include any weather effects unlike the final game, as there wasn’t sufficient time to implement these details.
He also confirmed that your data/stats from Episode Duscae will not transfer over to the final version of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One JRPG.
In terms of levelling up, players must utilize the ‘camp’ ability during gameplay to boost their stats. The camps also function as fast-travel points.
Elsewhere, the FFXV game director confirmed that characters will point out various places of interest during the demo, such as areas they want to visit. On the topic of combat, players can change weapons mid-battle by accessing the menu.
Finally, Tabata-san confirmed that a diverse range of enemies are featured in the demo, with a red gauge informing you of their presence, which disappears when combat ensues.
