EA Sports has emerged from the locker room with a fresh Madden NFL 22 video, this time scrutinising the game’s story-based mode, Face of the Franchise.
Face of the Franchise chronicles your journey from college student to getting drafted into the NFL, so it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a career mode at this point. Along the way, you’ll choose from a selection of classes that help shape your personality, and you can now also hop into the role of a linebacker to take on a defensive position.
“Earn the No. 1 overall pick, expect the unexpected as you adapt to the weekly routine as an NFL rookie, play like a superstar on the field, and use your influence to become a hero off of it as you progress.”
Face of the Franchise was one of the major disappointments from Madden NLF 21, so if you’re groaning internally at the thought of doing it all again in Madden NFL 22, then hopefully EA has seen fit to polish things up more for this latest entry.
Madden NFL 22 will be hitting up the field on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One on August 20, 2021.
