A new banner for the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat movie has appeared online, offering a glimpse at the main cast and what appears to be confirmation of Kabal.
In case you’re not up on your Mortal Kombat, Kabal made his debut in Mortal Kombat 3 and is noted for his perpetual mask and hook-like blades he wields in battle. He’s also able to move at incredibly fast speeds and one of his classic fatalities involves him taking off his mask, screaming at his opponent, and literally scaring them to death.
Check out the banner below. Kabal can be spotted on the far right-hand side.
The Mortal Kombat movie reboot will be hitting cinemas and HBOMax on April 16.
The movie follows mixed martial artists Cole Young who finds himself hunted down by the Lin-Kuei clan of assassins lead by Sub-Zero, only to find himself battling in the Mortal Kombat tournament in defense of Earthrealm. The film will feature a huge cast of iconic game characters including Liu Kang, Jax, Raiden, Kano, Sonya, Scorpion, Shang Tsung and more.
