New Project Q Images Seemingly Confirms It Is Android-Based

New images of Sony’s Project Q device have emerged online that seemingly confirm that the device will run on Android tech.

If this is indeed the case, then in theory Project Q. Could be modded to run other streaming apps such has GeForce Now or Amazon Luna.

Sony announced Project Q during the PlayStation Showcase earlier this year, and supports adaptive streaming for up to 1080p and 60 FPS. The device uses Remote Play and requires a constant Internet connection, and features an eight-inch screen, haptic feedback and more.

No price point for the device has been announced yet, but documents obtained from Microsoft’s court battle with the FTC last month have the format holder quoting a price point of under $300.
