New Uncharted 4 update improves multiplayer and fixes campaign bugs

Naughty Dog has released a third patch for the critically acclaimed Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

This latest patch offers fixes for both the single-player campaign and multiplayer component, with the main adventure benefitting from some polishing that fixes various crashing and syncing issues.

The online fixes are a little more comprehensive however, as is usually the case, all of which ensure the Uncharted 4 multiplayer experience runs as smoothly as possible. You can check out the full details here.

Uncharted 4 was released last Tuesday to rave reviews, including a mighty 10/10 from PSU’s Kyle Prahl.

The game takes place three years after the events of its predecessor, and sees Nathan ‘Nate’ Drake living a relatively normal life with his wife, Elena. However, our plucky fortune hunter is soon forced back into the world of thieves by the reappearance of his brother, Sam, who was thought to have died some 15 years ago.

Fresh to the Uncharted formula this time around includes larger environments to explore, plus enhancements to melee and stealth mechanics, allowing Drake to completely evade enemy encounters by staying out of sight. Nate also gets a grappling tool to facilitate navigation, allowing him to swing and jump large distances.
