The release date for the upcoming Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom has been revealed ahead of Sony’s E3 press conference later on today.
Spotted by Kotaku’s Jason Schreier and buried within the latest Bandai Namco press release, the sequel to one of PS3’s best-loved Japanese role-playing games will launch on November 10 – a sign that Sony’s beginning to fill out the currently barren holiday season in terms of exclusivity for PS4 owners.
Expected to make an appearance in trailer form tonight at the show, Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is the latest effort from Level 5, the RPG powerhouse that boasts a back catalogue that includes the likes of Dark Cloud, Rogue Galaxy, and Jeanne d’Arc.
In the meantime, you can check out the latest trailer here.
Announced at PlayStation Experience in December 2015, Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is the sequel to the critical darling Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, and revolves around King Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum’s (that’s right) attempts to reclaim his kingdom following a forced exile. He’s of course added in his journey by a strapping young lad by the name of Roland.
