Taiwan’s game ratings board has posted up a listing for Nier Replicant on PS4, PC and Xbox One, suggesting fresh info on the game is coming soon, probably at Tokyo Game Show 2020 in a few weeks time.
Nier Replicant PS4 Rated In Taiwan
The game, officially titled NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139, is a remaster of the original Nier Replicant, which was released exclusively in Japan for PS3 as an alternate version of Nier Gestalt for the Xbox 360.
If you’re not familiar with the series, Nier itself is a spin-off of the Drakengard series and follows the fifth ending of the first video game, which results in the Earth being left in a state of decay. Nier picks up one thousand years after these events, and sees players controlling the eponymous hero as he attempts to locate a cure for a mysterious illness known as the Black Scrawl.
Nier was directed by Yoko Taro and developed by Cavia, with the sequel, Nier: Automata, produced by Platinum Games and released for PS4 and Xbox One in 2017.
