Japanese publication Famitsu (via Siliconera) has confirmed that work on PlayStation Vita title Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus is almost complete, and will be released in Japan in February 2012.
For those out of the loop, the gore-tastic actioner will arrive on Sony’s new handheld with a new hero difficulty and tweaked controls. Ninja Gaiden Sigma was originally released on PlayStation 3 back in 2007.
Meanwhile, fans also have Ninja Gaiden III – the first title to not to be directed by series creator Tomonobu Itagaki – to look forward to when it arrives on PS3 and Xbox 360 early next year.
