Hello Games has unveiled a new No Man’s Sky update called Prisms, which offers an extensive visual overhaul to the game, alongside a number of other features.
The laundry list of updates with this version of the game includes reflections, fur, refractions, improved rain and weather, parallax occlusion mapping, new warp effects, an improved photo mode, new particle effects and light shafts, improved biome detail, with DLSS support on PC. Alongside those updates, there is also a host of quality of life improvements and small gameplay additions as well.
This visual overhaul means that the game has now surpassed what was promised in the original reveal trailer with the game looking gorgeous. This update releases today for all platforms. You can see just some of those improvements in the reveal trailer below:
