No plans for Elder Scrolls V, says Bethesda

Todd Howard, executive director at Bethesda Softworks, has said that the famed developer currently has no plans for a fifth instalment in the critically acclaimed Elder Scrolls franchise.

Speaking at the annual QuakeCon event this week, Howard said of the company’s future projects, "We are working on our next big game but we are not talking about it,” though made it clear to audience members that an Elder Scrolls V wasn’t on the cards.

As far as an MMO entry in the popular RPG series goes, Howard joked, “There’s always a chance." Elsewhere, the executive also revealed that Bethesda was finished churning out post-launch content for post-apocalyptic outing, Fallout 3.
