Sony Computer Entertainment America has put together a developer diary on the PlayStation Vita, detailing what it was like to get hands-on with the platform for the first time, and how Sony allowed developers to work with engineers extensively in order to produce what some call “The Second Coming of Christ: The Handheld.”
…Okay, Who’s calling it that? We are (because we’re PSU, dammit). Seriously though, the thing has a heap of hype behind it already, whether it be for the dual-analog sticks, Trophy support, or that beautiful 5-inch OLED screen.
The developer diary, posted on the PS Blog by Director of Hardware Marketing at SCEA, John Koller, has some interesting tidbits of information in it, and even teases some “unannounced titles,” that will feature “location-based experiences.”
The PlayStation Vita will be released in Japan on December 17, and in North America/Europe on February 22, 2012.
