Memes can quickly become internet sensations, with one cleverly crafted image and caption being passed around social savvy folk faster than image of a poorly looking child and the words ‘Share if you have a heart.’
Well, it looks like Sony wants a slice of that social media action as it’s today launched an Uncharted meme generator, encouraging users to share their creations. The thing is it’s kind of back-fired, and rather than users creating lovely memes that promote the superb Uncharted series, people are just taking the proverbial piss.
So much so, it appears that the meme generator may have been taken offline, though it could simply be a glitch in the system. Note – the meme generator is only accessible in the U.S., and not currently available in the U.K.
