Operation7: Showdown the free-to-play third-person shooter from Park ESM, has launched today for the PS4. The game’s predecessor, Operation7: Revolution, was released in June 2017 in Asia but never made it to the west, and has now been shut down.

Being a third-person shooter, the game features a boatload of weapons that are fully customisable, not to mention characters and vehicles too. Players can cobble together their own weapon by collecting various parts, while vehicles are used both offensive and defensively, breaking down walls and providing cover and movement.
Players will battle it out on strategy open maps while the action is touted as both realistic and dynamic, thanks to the various costumes that ‘suit the genre of third-person shooter,’ whatever that means. The blurb goes on to say that ‘You can easily progress through the battleground against other players by using weapons, costumes, and gears to your advantage.’
