Ubisoft’s staple-gunned a European release date of April 27 to Housemarque’s PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade effort, Outland.
Due out in the U.S. on April 26, Outland is rather like a mishmash of Prince of Persia and Ikaruga, offering a combination of top-down blasting action and retro-tastic 2D platforming segments. Cooperative play is very much at the forefront of the action, featuring in both the main campaign mode and dedicated challenge rooms.
In addition, the game also features a music score composed by Ari Pulkkinen, who previously contributed his talents to the likes of Angry Birds, Super Stardust HD and Trine.
