Sega has confirmed that Outrun Online Arcade will not be coming to PlayStation Network in North America, with the game now exclusive to Microsoft’s Xbox Live Arcade service in the region.
Despite this, retro racer will still be putting in an appearance on PSN in European territories alongside its Xbox 360 counterpart. Sega declined to comment on the game’s 360 exclusivity in the U.S.
Developed by Sheffield-based studio Sumo Digital, OutRun Online Arcade will feature 15 different courses, taking you through San Francisco to the sun-baked beeches of California.
The game will support online multiplayer functionality for up to six players, featuring a variety of game modes including OutRun, Heart Attack and Time Attack.
