Overwatch Season 4 is coming to an end on PS4, Xbox One and PC as preparations are made for the start of Season 5.
It’s been a long haul in the fourth competitive season of Blizzard’s popular multiplayer first-person shooter, which began on February 28, but Season 4’s ending is in sight with PvPLive claiming that it comes to a close at the end of May, but more specifically on the 24th or 25th.
It’s also noted that they’ll be a countdown time to the end of each Season in-game so that players know exactly when each Season will end.
Overwatch Season 5 is expected to start at the beginning of June, and the first details have begun to trickle in, and according to Metabomb.net it appears that the placement system from Season 4 will remain intact with players having to complete 10 matches in order to provide the data for their new season ranking.
Though Blizzard has yet to reveal any details on Season 5 it’s also been suggested that the skill rating tiers will also remain the same with rankings ranging from Bronze through to Grandmaster. Rise through the ranks and spend points on unlocking golden weapons for your heroes.
