P.T. is gone, but you can still download it

The demo for now-canceled horror outing, Silent Hills, is still available for download for those who previously grabbed the pant-wetting teaser.

While Konami removed P.T. (Playable Teaser) from the PlayStation Store earlier this week as promised, you can still grab the demo if you had downloaded it before. So, if for some reason you removed it from your PS4, it’s probably best to grab it from the library section or it’ll be gone for good.

P.T. was released for free last summer following Silent Hills’ unveiling at Gamescom 2014. Unfortunately, Konami confirmed earlier this week that the project, which was a collaboration between Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro and starring Norman Reedus, had been canned.

The news comes in wake of an apparant falling out between Kojima-san and Konami bosses, which has resulted in all reference to the Metal Gear creator removed from packaging art for various products in the stealth-action series.

In addition, Kojima Productions is effectively no more, and Kojima-san is expected to depart Konami after he completes work on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Konami, however, still intends to develop future instalments in the multi-million selling franchise going forward.

P.T. was a fairly big success, notching up over one million downloads during its time on the PS Store.
