Persona 2: Innocent Sin coming to PSP this fall

The second title in the Persona sub-series is heading to North America. That’s right Persona fans, you can finally have the chance to play a localized version of Persona 2: Innocent Sin.

Twelve years after its original release on the PlayStation in Japan, Atlus has decided to give its North American fanbase a sweet taste of what we’ve never had. It’s not a huge surprise that the publisher is bringing this to our shores, since this new remastered version of Innocent Sin was released last month in Japan.

Innocent Sin is hitting the PSP with new 16:9 widescreen support, remastered visuals and audio, player’s choice of the fully remixed or original soundtrack, and new Climax Theater side-quests.

Given the critical success of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable, the last Persona game to get this same treatment, I’m sure many fans will be waiting with bated breath. A release date has not been announced yet, but expect Person 2: Innocent Sin to be out this fall. ‘Till then, you can soak up all the new website has to offer.
