S-Game‘s upcoming Phantom Blade Zero has been confirmed as a timed PS5 console exclusive for at least 12 months, the game’s latest trailer has been confirmed.
The end of the trailer features the text “also available on PC. Not available on other consoles until at least 12 months after release date. Vertical Stand sold separately. Design and specifications are subject to change.” This was a similar situation to the Silent Hill 2 Remake, which has since been released for Xbox Series X/S one year after its PS5 and PC debut.
Phantom Blade Zero appeared during The Game Awards 2025 on Friday evening, where the aforementioned new trailer confirmed that the game would launch on September 9, 2026. So, we’ve got a bit of a wait on our hands still, but at least we finally have a date in mind.
Phantom Blade Zero sees players following an assassin serving in a powerful organisation known as The Order, who is framed for the murder of the group’s patriarch. Your character, Soul, is injured during the resulting manhunt, although his life is saved by a healer by a cure that will last for 66 days. With Soul’s time limited, players must battle against inhuman foes to seek the truth behind the murder plot before it’s too late.
S-GAME will publish Phantom Blade Zero for PS5 on September 9, 2026.
