Phantom Blade Zero Release Date Pushed To October 29

S-Game has announced that Phantom Blade Zero has been pushed to October 29, 2026, with the game originally pencilled in for launch on September 9.

Here’s a snippet of what S-Game’s CEO and Phantom Blade Zero creator, Soulframe, had to say, alongside a new trailer:

As many of you just saw in today’s State of Play, pre-orders for Phantom Blade Zero will open this summer!

At the same time, I want to share another update: Phantom Blade Zero will now launch on October 29, 2026, moved from its previous date of September 9, 2026.

First of all, I want to offer my sincere apologies to all the players who have been following and supporting us. This was not an easy decision. More than anyone, we understand the expectations our players have placed on us. And precisely because of those expectations, we do not want to release Phantom Blade Zero knowing there is still an opportunity to take it one step further.

The message also confirms that S-Game will be releasing a new Phantom Blade Zero trailer alongside preorders, which will feature fresh in-game footage. In addition, once preorders are open, there will be a dedicated State of Play event that will offer 15-20 minutes of footage that will explore the game’s world, combat, exploration, and character progression system. No date for that has been announced yet, but S-Game promises the majority of the content shown will be brand new.

Phantom Blade Zero will now launch on Oct. 29 for PS5 and PC.
