Plants vs. Zombies will be bringing its unique brand of carnage to Sony’s PlayStation Vita, PopCap Games and Sony Online Entertainment have confirmed.
Writing in a Tweet, Sony commented, “Surprise! Plants vs Zombies is coming to PS Vita. Thanks @popcap@SonyOnline.”
Plants vs. Zombies originally hit PC and Mac in 2009 and has made the jump to numerous other platforms since launch, including PlayStation Network, Xbox Live iOS and DS.
The game itself is a tower defence title where gamers help a homeowner defend his property from invading zombies by using a variety of plants to drive back the shambling undead hordes.
